This Project Needs You

I started the movement, but that's just the spark.
For the flame of hope to grow, this challenge must be carried by a true team. Whether you're on the bike, on the roadside, or behind a screen, your energy is essential to make this adventure a collective victory.

Frequently Asked Questions
The success of the event depends on a variety of contributions. You can support We Ride For Smiles in several ways:
- By participating in the cycling challenge: Whether for the full route or for one or more stages.
- By becoming a volunteer: On the ground for logistics or remotely for communication, translation, or organizational tasks.
- By participating virtually: By riding from home and participating in online fundraising.
- By making a donation: Every financial contribution directly supports our partner charities.
- By becoming a partner: Associate your company's image with our cause for a mutually beneficial impact.
Fundraising is the heart of our mission. Our international structure allows you to support the cause in a targeted way:
When making a donation, you will have the option to allocate it to one of the beneficiary charities based in different countries. This mechanism is designed to allow donors to benefit from the tax advantages in force in their country of residence, subject to eligibility. Every pound collected, after deducting operating costs, is fully passed on.
For the cycling challenge, there is no minimum or maximum amount of funds to raise. Fundraising is a vital way to maximize the impact of our project for the charities we support, but commitment is the only requirement. The strength of the event is in everyone coming together. Since the route takes place on public roads, it is possible to join the group for a portion of the journey.
Furthermore, all help is welcome. Contributing by helping with communication about the project is an equally essential form of support for our collective mission to bring hope to sick children and their families.
The route is demanding and is aimed at experienced cyclists capable of handling several consecutive days of long-distance riding. Beyond endurance, technical self-sufficiency is expected.
Participants must be able to perform basic repairs (e.g., fixing a flat tire, minor adjustments). A support vehicle will follow the group for safety and logistical emergencies but does not serve as a dedicated mechanical team.
Yes, it is entirely possible to join us for one or more stages, depending on your availability. This flexibility allows a greater number of people to contribute to the adventure. We invite you to contact us via the "Get Involved" form, indicating the dates or segments of the route that interest you.
We would be delighted to collaborate with your company. We offer several levels of partnership (material, financial, logistical) providing different benefits in terms of visibility (logo on jerseys, the vehicle, the website, dedicated communication on social media, etc.) in exchange for a financial donation to the supported charities.
